What is covered by the eReader extended warranty terms from XpresServ?
The XpresServ extended eReader warranty covers repair against all manufacturers defects to original operating condition. All parts and labor are included with no deductibles.
What if my eReader cannot be repaired after a technician receives it?
If the eReader or eBook reader cannot be economically restored to original working condition XpresServ will replace the eReader with a new or refurbished product of like description in perfect working condition. We may also choose, if more convenient to the service plan holder to refund an amount equal to the price of a replacement product of like description rather than replacing it.
How long do I have to purchase the extended warranty service plan for my eReader?
We recommend purchasing the eReader warranty right away. However, at this time you may purchase the eReader extended warranty any time within the first 4 months after the date of purchase of the eReader.
When does service coverage of the eReader begin?
The warranty period of your contract begins at the date of purchase of the eReader. After the one year warranty provided by the manufacturer, your eReader is eligible for extended warranty coverage under your XpresServ service plan. Thus, if you purchase a 3 year extended warranty on the product, you will have 2 years of extended warranty coverage after the manufacturers warranty. This is way actuaries consider pricing on warranties since the product is covered for a total of 3 years, and the older the product, the greater the likelihood of something breaking.
Who repairs the eReader when it breaks?
An authorized repair technician and service center repairs the eReader or e-book Reader.
May I purchase the XpresServ eReader extended warranty for a refurbished eReader?
Yes, we cover used or refurbished Tablets if the extended warranty service is purchased within the first 4 months of the original date of purchase and there is least 8 months remaining on the manufacturers warranty.
