Payment Options and Processing Procedure
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards. DTV City does not process payment for orders until the product is in stock and ready to ship - either the day before shipping, or the same day the item will shipped.

Sales Tax
There is no sales tax charged on our TV extended service warranties.

Product Uses
We list exactly the manufacturer's product specifications for all of the products that we sell. We guarantee the product for only those uses that the manufacturer’s or extended warranty specifications list.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a TV extended warranty may be made up to 1 month after the purchase date. There is a 10% cancellation charge assessed. All cancellations must be submitted via e-mail to

Shopping Basket Errors
DTV Express makes every effort to insure against shopping basket errors; however there may occasionally be minor typographical or numerical calculation errors, which may result in a false invoice total. In the event that there are incorrect totals or shopping basket price discrepancies, prices listed on the product pages of the web site will be considered the correct and controlling price.

Errors and Omissions
In the unlikely event that a price is listed incorrectly; the correct price will be the controlling price. Unintentional mistakes or omissions do not constitute a reason for return or reduction of price. DTV Express will correct any mistakes brought to our attention in a timely manner.

Q: Can I have my order shipped to another address other than my credit card billing address?
A: Yes, just included the address in the ship to section of the online order information. We can set the extended warranty up for any address.

Q: How long after my TV purchase can I purchase the TV extended warranty from DTV Express?
A: The television extended warranty may be purchased up to 8 months after the original purchase date provided there is a valid manufacturers warranty of 1 year on the product.

Q: May I purchase a TV extended warranty for a refurbished product?
A: No, due to the fact that refurbished B-stock plasma and LCD televisions only have a 90-day manufacturers warranty. The television extended warranty cannot be purchased from DTV Express.

Q: When does the TV extended warranty begin?
A: The televisions extended warranty period begins from the date of purchase, while the extended warranty service begins when the manfuacturers warranty period ends (usually 1 year).

The one exception to this is defects caused by power surges in which case the extended warranty service begins from the date your extended warranty is purchased and is usually not covered by manufacturers warranty period policies.

Q: Who guarantees and backs the extended TV warranties?
A: AM Best A rated insurance companies including Dealers Assurance Corporation and AmTrust Financial Group.
