What was the problem with your Plasma TV?
"We purchased our first Panasonic 42" plasma television and liked it so much that we decided to purchase another Panasonic 42" for use in our bedroom. During our second year of use, we experienced an issue with one of the plasma TVs.
How would you rate the service on your television extended warranty?
The repair process went well. The extended warranty company responded quickly to place an authorized repairman on our issue. The authorized serviceman came out and fixed our television offsite and returned in one trip. It was a very quick turnaround. We would recommend having the extended warranty and are really enjoying our Panasonic plasma TVs."

"Almost two years into owning my old display unit, the plasma picture stopped working. The extended warranty company had an authorized repairman come out and check the unit. They couldn’t fix the display and sent a check for the value of a new replacement plasma television.
How would you rate the service on your television extended warranty?
I was happy with the amount of the check and ended up upgrading my display to the Panasonic 50PF9UK. In terms of customer service, dealing with the extended warranty company and the retailer who sold the product has been great."

My buying experience from DTVExpress was seemless. I placed the order online with no problems. It was very easy.
Why did you decide to purchase your TV extended warranty from DTV Express?
I talked with some friends who also have a plasma TV. They all told me buying an extended TV warranty was a good idea. I did some research on the internet. The consumer reports I found confirmed my friends advice so I knew I wanted to get the extended TV warranty. The department store gave me a great deal on my plasma TV, but I felt that they wanted too much money for the warranty. I used the internet search engine to find information about extended TV warranties. I found (the DTVExpress website) your site. The information on the site was helpful, and when I called a representative, he answered all my questions. The extended TV warranty from DTVExpress was $200 less than the warranty at the department store, and it offered the same quality of service.

I checked with a few other companies about an extended TV warranty. The DTVExpress website had the most information about what they specifically did or did not cover. There were a few companies I found online that were marginally less expensive, but after talking with my wife, we decided money isn’t everything. What was the problem with your Plasma TV?
The main circuit board apparently blew out or went bad.
How did the extended warranty administrator respond?
Initially, it was OK. Once I got in touch with the correct service center it took 4-5 days for them to pick up the TV. Once they picked it up they were very slow and there were many problems repairing the TV. I had to call Warrantech many times. This process was taking way too long so I called DTV Express.
How did DTV Express respond?
DTV Express put calls in to the television extended warranty administrator (Warrantech) to get the problem expedited. They eventually succeeded and got Warrantech to replace my plasma TV with a brand new one the Panasonic TH-50PH9UK, rather than repair the old one.

What was the problem with your LCD TV?
The TV developed a problem with color information. There was a problem with 4:3 pictures overlapping on a 16:9 content. I knew something was wrong with the set. I had to call the TV extended warranty company (Warrantech). They sent Anderson TV (authorized service center) to take a look at it within 2 to 3 days. We thought initially that it might be the buld so they replaced the bulb with a new one. That did not fix the problem so Anderson TV took the TV in to the shop. It turned out to be a problem with the light engine. So Anderson replaced the whole light engine and that fixed the problem
How would you rate the service on your television extended warranty?
Really good job. They did an excellent job. They got to my house quickly to pick it up. The whole process and repair parts and labor was covered under the extended service plan.
